The basics

For a typical home, plan on about 20 to 30 minutes per room, so most whole-home jobs wrap up in two to three hours. Heavy soil, deep stains, and stairs add time. We give you a realistic window when we quote the job, and we won't rush the extraction pass just to beat the clock.

Most carpets are dry to walk on in a few hours, and fully dry within 6 to 10 hours. Good airflow speeds it up, so we suggest running fans or the HVAC and cracking a window if the weather is mild. Cincinnati summer humidity can stretch dry time a bit, and we account for that.

The EPA recommends professional carpet cleaning every 12 to 18 months. If you have pets, kids, allergies, or a lot of foot traffic, once a year keeps things fresh. Regular cleaning also protects the fibers, so the carpet lasts longer before it needs replacing.

Yes. We move sofas, chairs, tables, and most everyday furniture, clean underneath, and set it back in place. We leave the very heavy pieces like beds, dressers, and full bookcases where they are and clean around them. If you'd rather clear a room yourself, that's fine too, just let us know when we quote it.

Cost & scheduling

Most Cincinnati homeowners pay $120–$300 for whole-home carpet cleaning, depending on square footage, number of rooms, and how much soil or staining is involved. Larger four-plus-bedroom homes run higher. See our carpet cleaning cost guide for a full breakdown, then get a firm quote for your home.

Area rugs are priced by the square foot, usually $3–$8. Synthetic rugs land at the lower end, while wool and Persian rugs sit toward the top because they need gentler, more careful handling. Our rug cleaning cost guide walks through the pricing so there are no surprises.

We do both. Homes are the bulk of our work, but we also clean offices, waiting rooms, and other commercial spaces across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. For commercial jobs we can schedule around your hours so we're not in the way of your day.

Cleaning methods

We use hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning. First we pre-treat the carpet with a cleaning solution, then we give it time to break down the dirt and oils worked into the fibers. Then we make a pass with hot water under pressure that flushes the soil out and extracts most of the moisture with it. It's the method most carpet manufacturers recommend.

Yes. Hot water extraction is safe for nearly every wall-to-wall carpet type, and it's what most manufacturers call for to keep a warranty valid. We match the solution and the water temperature to your carpet, so delicate fibers get a gentler touch. If something on your floor needs special handling, we'll tell you before we start.

Stains, pets & rugs

Usually, yes. Pet odor lives in the mess soaked below the surface, so masking it never lasts. We use an enzyme treatment that breaks down the source of the smell instead of covering it up. Where a pet accident has soaked through into the pad, we'll be honest that the pad may need replacing to fully clear it. See our pet stain and odor page for how it works.

Most of the time, yes. Red wine, coffee, juice, and similar spills usually come out, especially if they're treated before they set. We'll be straight with you, though: some very old or set-in stains, and a few dyes, can be permanent no matter what we use. Our stain removal page covers what tends to lift and what doesn't.

Yes, we clean area rugs of every size and fiber, including wool and Persian rugs. Those finer rugs get a gentler, material-appropriate approach so the colors and the pile come back without damage. You can read more on our rug cleaning page.

We do. Sofas, chairs, ottomans, and sectionals, matched to the fabric so the color and texture come back rather than getting over-wet. It pairs well with a carpet cleaning visit since we're already there. Our upholstery cleaning page has the details.

Working with us

Yes. We clean across Northern Kentucky, including Florence, Covington, and Independence, along with all of Greater Cincinnati on the Ohio side. Check our service area page to confirm we cover your city.

We do, and it's plain: if a spot isn't clean, we come back. You shouldn't have to chase anyone to make a carpet right. We'd rather return and finish the job than leave you looking at something we missed.
